Poop Happens.....

If you can't laugh at poop, what can you laugh at. Just this morning I had said those exact words to a dear friend who said she loved all of my "poop stories".....and we have quite a few. Why is that? 4 Kids, a husband.....ha ha, at least we can laugh....NOW!

Well as we were rushing (cuz we are always rushing) to get ready for a date night, my nose perked up....sniff sniff...

"WHO ME"

At the top of the stairs was my sweet cute loving, NAKED baby Matix! He was making a race track with his dirt bike and a pile of "POO"

Need I say more????

Four Boys and a BABE!!!!!

Contrary to what most may think, I am sooo excited.....we found out the other day that this sweet baby is a boy. And I have to be honest, at first it scared me to think about what to do with "4 Boys", knowing set in the reality of 5; I cryed, tears and then joy......
I was very excited to see his sweet face! The ultrasounds these days are amazing and allow us to catch just a quick glimpse of what's going on inside. It overwhelms me, and I dream about him now, and I cant wait to meet him. Time is ticking so quickly, and before we know it, and before we are ready he will be here.

We are going to have a wild and crazy house, NO DOUBT.....but a fun one full of boxing matches and footballs. London will always be the princess and as hard as it may be for her to accept another brother, she will never get overlooked. She claims that the next one will be a girl......keep wishing sista.....I'll get you a bunk bed!!!!! (won't promise a sister) Were done :)

Happy Birthday Kaden

I absolutely ADORE this kid. He gives the biggest hugs and the smooshiest kisses!!! He honestly has a heart of gold. I have learned a lot about Kaden these past several weeks that I am indeed grateful for....I am saddend that it took the eyes of my sweet sister to help me realize that his weaknesses are actually his strengths. With a personality like his, he will be able to do amazing things, and some day will be a great Man! For those who know me best knows how many days I have spent crying over how to raise a strong spirited child....Today, I am blessed to have such a strong spirit in my home. He continues to teach me everyday! Heavenly Father give us what we need not what we want, he presents us with trials and experiences that teach and mold us into becoming more like him. Kaden is such an awesome dancer, I love watching him perform. He turns into a beaming proud boy. I am thankful for what dance has offered him. The confidence it builds each and every time he performs. Whatever this boy puts his mind to he can do it..... I love you SOOO much Kaden!!! Keep you heart in the right direction and you will do amazing things. You are a friend to everyone you meet. There are so many people that will look to you as a leader, and I know you wont let them down.

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY KADEN!!!

Lets Kick off the summer.....

"What a way to start the summer", Dylan is saying. This has been a long time coming, and I am soo excited to see the future for this kid. Last wed afternoon, I sat beside this sweet boy and for the first time in his young life he sat with his mouth closed, breathing through his nose. Not a sound, not a snore. To most we take something as simple as a breath of air for granted....Dylan has never experienced an inhale without a struggle. He has never had a night of sleep without tossing and turning, gasping and snoring. And for the first time Thursday night he slept soooo extremely peaceful!!! If you know Dylan, and his severe sleep apnea, a night like this brings tears to a moms eyes.
I was a mess as they took him back. So scary for a mother to wait helplessly in the waiting room. I am thankful for the power of prayer....and for the comfort I had as we drove to the hospital that morning. I am indeed thankful for the love and support of friends and family that helped that day. Dylan is going to be a happier healthier kid now that he can breath.

Kaden was sooo sweet to Dylan, constantly by his side, feeding him,
hugging him, anyway he possibly could express his love to him. It was hard
for Kaden to leave, he wanted to stay and take care of him all night long.
Recovery was a little tough, but well worth it!!

Saying goodbye to Kindergarden

LONDON SHAE(ker)

What a BIG girl!! Last day of kindergarten, and so proud.

Amazing Teacher, Mrs Cruz!

London and Cody were in the same class, same as Dylan and Callie in Kindergarten.

They sang songs for us and called it a day. We went to celebrate with a trip to the
merry-go-round!!! London was in great company. Her and her cousin Mckenzie had so much fun being girls, and hanging out all day.

Last day of Flag Football....

These boys did awesome....They really had a fun season and they learned a lot! By the end of the season they were almost unstoppable. We would have won if there were no bad calls by the ref!!! Monica and I have the same Mesa blood running through us! Dad wasn't able to be there and it was a good thing......there might have been evictions! (IloveuBrad)

The Mighty BUCCS!!!

Red Faux Hawks, pumped up and ready to RUMBLE!

They fought long and they fought HARD. For these boys to start at 7:20am and play in the blazing heat till 1:00, They were AMAZING! They played and won 2 games, then were beat only by a safety (2pts) against the Redskins....they didn't even score against us! I think one game away from the Superbowl is pretty darn good. These boys came out of nowhere and started cleaning house! Definitely were capable of winning the Superbowl. These boys couldn't get enough football, after a hot dog and a dip in the pool they headed out to the yard and started up another game! They developed skills, sportsmanship and I think the most valuable....friendships!

Celebrate Learning......

Just a glimpse of what the kids did in school these past few months....

This is Dylan's box report of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" notice the artwork...

He did it all by himself! He
definitely got his Papa's talent in art.

Kaden did a box report on the "Arctic Habitat"
Great job Kade! We had fun making a mess didn't we.....

London's hasn't come home yet, I'll add it when it does.

Chalk it up......1st of many

So tonight I was reading old blogs and I came across the one about Kaden falling off the bed and knocking himself out.....and I couldn't help but add this one about Dylan.

It was a week or so ago, we had put the kids to bed and I was sitting on the computer looking for baby names when I heard a loud thud. My heart stopped and I couldn't get up the stairs fast enough.....I knew, we had just bunked the beds 3 days before and Brad hadn't put the rail up....he's never fallen before, why would he now?! Dylan met me at the top, and every moms nightmare, he had a face full of blood. Dripping off his chin, now all over me, it looked like a scary movie. I think what scared me even more is the way he was acting. I couldn't get him to acknowledge that he could hear me talking, he just kept rocking back and forth. After what seemed forever he finally started asking, through his tears, why we pulled him out of bed? He still didn't even know what was going on. I had to show him in the mirror before he started really talking to us. As we were putting him in the shower to find the source, he kept yelling at Brad, "You don't even know what your talking about, you have bad eyes and you cant see anything!!!!" We started cracking up, now he's delirious, so we shove him in the shower. He's still hysterical, that never stopped, and he tries to lay on the floor and is falling asleep. Standing up, he's falling asleep crying......and of course I am freeking out, so I make the decision to take him to the emergency room just to make sure we didn't need stitches or have a concussion. Everyone and their dog was there as well, all barfing in trashcans, swine flu scare.......so we sat outside for hours waiting. I guess it was good that we had to wait, cuz by time we got back the bleeding had stopped and it had started to seal closed.....so we got out of there with supper glue and no staples.....thank goodness, I wouldn't have let them.

We got home and Brad had the rail put up and moved the nightstand that will never go back beside the bed again..........

Is a mom allowed to be proud?

I have to admit last night was a BLAST and I hope that I am allowed to be happy for him. Dylan is shy, conservative and sometimes not so confident (we don't know why?) Kaden and Dylan had football games last night under the lights, so fun, and they both did soo good. We had told Dylan at the first of the season that we would pay him for every good play....well this game cost me $22 bucks. And gladly I did hand it over!! HE WAS ON FIRE THAT NIGHT!!! And I was the proud mama. More so than being proud of our children when they do so good, is to see their face light up with smiles and to have their confidence sore when they realize that they can do whatever they set their hearts to!!!

Way to go BOYS! You ROCK!

We were walking to the field the other day, they had music playing loud, everywhere you looked there were boys with their family and friends all dressed and ready to fight!! SOOO much fun, adrenalin pumpin and I wasn't even the one getting ready to play. I have tears when I have to miss a game, they are so much fun.
If you have ever sat through a game with Brad, watching him is almost as entertaining......love ya babe, wait till tackle!!!
I will be soo sad when the season is over. We have made some amazing friends!!! We are truly grateful for our friends and their kids.....these boys are priceless! They are boys that we are proud of as we are our own!
GO BUCCS..........GO JETS!!!!!!!

The BEST day EVER!!!

This boy is so sweet and so special to us! He has anxiously been waiting for this day for a long time. Talk about a boy who is ready for the commitments he will make this day. I have to share with you our experience we had the night of his bishop interview...I drove him to the church and we were chatting about what he might ask and Dylan was very somber and quiet, I asked if he was nervous? "A little" So I asked him if he would like to say a prayer before we went in and ask the spirit to be with him? A quick reply "yes, but will you say it, I cant talk" It was sweet and simple, and as I said amen.....Dylan was a mess! His tender heart was overflowing with emotion. He is so close to the spirit and so SWeET!!!!

This boy wants so badly to choose the right and to please everyone. I've never seen a boy so spiritually emotional at such a young age. He understands the gospel and has such a strong testimony of the plan. There is no question in my mind that he's not ready for this days, and that he knows and understands the choices he is making today.

Dylan got to spend this day with his cousin Calli who was baptised today also. They both had sooo many people there that love and support them, ones they can look to for examples and guidance.
Kaden was definitely the proud brother, he couldn't stop hugging Dylan! So sweet to have a brother that loves you soo much!!

What a day to be proud of these two! I love you both so very much and am so proud to be the mom today. It's such an important day for you Dylan, you are just glowing and I am so excited to see you learn and grow in the gospel. Stay close to your Heavenly Father and stay close to your family. Build your faith and testimony, and choose good friends that will help you continue to make right choices. I promise that as you do these things you will find the purest joy and happiness!!!! Your tears today are a testament that what you are choosing to do in your life is right. You know the spirit, continue to listen to it as you grow, follow the promptings and you will never be led astray.

I LOVE YOU! Mom

Its time....

With everything there is a window of opportunity.....I think we missed the boat on this one. A few months ago I don't think he would have really cared if we took his bottle away. Today as I was getting him milk, I turned my back, yes I'm a bad mom I let him sit on the counter, I turned back....and he was trying to put the top on the milk jug......Dad was walking in the door and we cracked up. Yeah I think we may have created a milk junkie!!!!!!!
I love to capture pictures of babies sleeping! They are at their sweetest while resting! Anyways just thought I would throw that in.

Convention and Competitions......

I love watching my kids try new things. We spent the day sat amongst good friends and great music. I had Not a clue how London would do at her 1st all day convention, she did great and she loved every minute of it. Kaden was definitely a minority in the classes, but that didn't stop him from doing his best. He is becoming quite the dancer. They rocked the stage that night at competition!!! Every time they perform I get all choked up and they amaze me every time, they improve sooo much with every performance. I love to watch them grow and come out of their shy little shells. Dancing has truly been soo much fun and has been sooo good for all of my kids. We get to share days like these with such good friends and we are blessed to be surrounded by such good people at our studio. London has gone from crying on stage to now, I almost hate to say, but is not afraid to push her way up to the front just to get noticed.

PAYBACK will be SWEET.......

So, I woke up this morning and went to open the windows to let in the rays and this to my surprise is what we found!!!!

So is this a result of having children, or having good friends who think they are children! :) I love you guys, you help me stay young and you constantly keep me laughing.

I love a good prank, now we just have to pin point the sneaky little boogers. You left good clues... BUT beware, we already have a plan so don't be too quick to turn your lights off!!!!!!!

You got us good....the thread was brilliant!!

P.S......Danielle got it much worse than us, thank goodness for second stop tp missions. We know who you are now and payback is SWEET! Game on!

FUN day of FOOTBALL

One of the joys of having two boys playing football and not playing on the same team is that on the days with double headers, you get to spend all day long on the field. I am not complaining I get pure joy and satisfaction out of spending Saturdays on the football field. The few times I have to miss, I have anxiety and tears. When your child loves something with all of their heart, you begin to have the same love.
Here are the Bucc's after their big win!!! They just beat the Undefeated #1 team! Our boys came out of nowhere, and stomp um! They had a blast, and I think they found a bit of confidence. They were hot and tired and got a quick break before they had to play the Giants under the night lights!!!!

Now the JETS did awesome too.....they were so hyped up and excited they were growling at the other team. Kaden scored a touchdown right off the bat and came running to me saying, "Mom I'm big and bad.....I can totally play football!" Kaden has had such a boost of confidence since he started playing football. It has been a blessing for him and Dylan to be on different teams. They had a huge win that day, and just as the sun was setting we got to move our chairs down the field and watch another game.......

Dylan's team was getting ready to play the Giants, and for some reason were nervous!!! The Giants are the craziest, most organized team in the league, there coach is a bit intimidating, but the Bucc's did a great job and only trailed by one touchdown in the end. It was the best game of the season this far.....they realized that the Giants weren't soo tough after all.....or maybe that they are just as good!!!!!

These boys are such good friends and have such a good time together.

Time for TACKLE!
